"Loud Mouth" LS1 Cat-Back Exhaust When choosing a cat back exhaust system I decided to go with SLP. SLP’s new exhaust system features a newly designed resonator which replaces the muffler and was created for the F-body owner who’s looking for increased power and a more muscle car-like sound. This new exhaust system offers up to a 25 hp gain at the flywheel and is a direct bolt-on replacement for the stock exhaust system. |

Quad Exhaust System Package I was looking for something unique and eye-catching to set my Camaro apart from the rest, so I choose SLP’s new Quad Tip Exhaust package. It added a Corvette-like look to the Camaro. This kit came with an aircraft-quality aluminum casting with polished lip exhaust tips and rear fascia extensions, which had to be painted to match the car. Picture installed |

Thermostat, 160º LS-1 This new thermostat replaces the factory 195 degree unit, allowing coolant to circulate at lower engine temperatures, keeping the engine cooler.

MAF Replacement Ends This picture shows the red anodized MAF ends that replaced the stock ones. The result was increased air flow to the engine. MAF ends are a quick, easy install that will give your LS1 a 6-8hp increase. See my installation section. Approximate time to complete was 30 minutes.

Whisper Air Induction Lid Pictured left is Whisper lid in carbon fiber. It eliminates the baffles that you saw at the rear of the stock lid along with the fins that are on the inside. The lid has shown an increase of 17 horsepower and 16 ft-lb torque in tests. The 'Heartbeat' sticker made a nice addition also. Approximate time to complete was 20 minutes. |
